The nervous system can be divided into two branches: the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system (PNS). The first one is made up of the brain and the spinal cord. The second one, the PNS is composed of the nerves, and has two branches: the somatic (voluntary) and the autonomic (non-voluntary). You will work today with the CNS.
1st) Read and summarise pages 10 and 11. Pay attention to the spelling of the terms and pictures.
